Used a reference photo taken by my sister-in-law in her street. This time of year, the jacarandas are in bloom, making for clouds and carpets of purplish-blue flowers. Getting the color just right turned out to be really difficult, and it was even more difficult to get the camera to accurately reproduce what I painted!
